Dear Fellowship Family:
Please pray for Aubrey, Skip and Terri Weir's grandaughter. This precious little one who had heart complications in the past has been admitted to the hospital due to bloating and swelling that might be related to her heart. If you remember we prayed for this little child last year. The Lord touched her then, and we are asking for another healing miracle now!
Thank you for your prayers...Pastor Kirk

UPDATE 5/16/06
Please PRAY for Aubrey... She has been miraculously calm and happy... So, we have been relieved to see her maturity and understanding... And we are thinking it's been in part due to Elmo's explanation of his visit to the doctor... Our newest dvd addition... Anyway... We would like prayers for peace, a clear diagnosis FAST, and healing... Health... Grace...
Thanks for your love and support... No one ever wishes for an ill child but everyone wishes for friends and family as great as each of you!
If you would like to get in touch with us or visit... Please feel free to call our room... We are at Dallas Children's, 8th Floor, Room 420... 214.456.7820
with love and appreciation, Terri Weir, Jacob and Carissa Winstead
UPDATE:
hi family and friends...
we are leaving the hospital!
this is good news in the respect that we will be at home and able to rest...
however, we are still not sure what the problem is/was... so, we feel there is no resolution yet... the doctors have run every test they felt necessary and are still waiting for some results to be able to provide a definite diagnosis... and they are also scheduling a catheterization for next week or sooner... so, hopefully after that is complete we will know more...
at this point, they feel she can be managed at home with medications and we will have to keep a close eye for any recurring issues or new developments...
so, thanks again for your prayers and support... we greatly appreciate it... and please just continue in prayer for complete restoration of health... also for the doctors to have divine wisdom and knowledge to be able to completely resolve any problem she may have...
thanks again,
the winsteads
Hello Beloved Friends and Family,
The hospital has scheduled a heart cath for Aubrey for Friday, May 26th, and she'll be the first case in the morning. Since this test has a risk factor and is crucial to Aubrey's health, Carissa, Jacob, Skip and I have agreed it is best that I remain in Texas until after we have gotten the results and Aubrey has been treated and/or is in the clear.
Please keep Aubrey in your prayers for a good outcome from the cath. We have been feeling like God may have healed her, but it's hard to know. The drug she is taking is creating some other problems (excessive urination and thirst especially) so it would really be best if she can get a good report and not require the drug any longer.
Terri Weir
