Dear Prayer Partners:
Eddie and Antionette Reed are requesting prayer for Johnny Martinez. He is the fiance' of their daughter Jeanine. Johnny is scheduled for triple bypass surgery on Monday, August 14th (changed on 8/11/06). Please pray for a completely successful surgery without complications, and a full and speedy recovery.

Johnny's surgery was Monday morning. The triple bypass went well, lasted about 4-1/2 hours. The report this morning is that all of the tubes have been removed, is doing well and he will go to a room today. Later today they plan to get him out of bed for a short time.
We appreciate the prayers and thoughts, and I know he does as well.

We were at the hospital Saturday evening, and the difference between daylight and dark. BP was under control, was energetic, had been up walking, ate three meals on Saturday and was feeling great. We believe that he will be able to leave the hospital on Monday.

God Bless you all (church family) for lifting up Johnny in prayer. He was able to leave the hospital Sunday evening, and will be in the recuperating mode for four to six weeks.
