Cara has now been out  of ICU for several says. She was diagnosed with double pneumonia.  She still has some help breathing, but is sitting up, and mostly breathing on her on. Let's continue to pray for Cara's full recovery.

Dear Fellowship Family:

Please pray for a dear friend of ours, Cara Young, who has cystic fibrosis. Cara plays the violin, and played in our music group at Romans VIII Ministries in Fort Worth. Cara is 25. She was having difficulty breathing, and was care flighted to St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas today.  Cara is on the list for a lung transplant. We have prayed for Cara in our prayer circles, and at Bible study. Please lift up Cara in prayer for God's miraculous healing in her life.

PRAY FOR JACKIE PAGE'S MOTHER

Jackie Page's mother was put in a rehab facility last week - she didn't have a good night on Saturday so Jackie spent time with her over the weekend.  Please continue lifting Jackie in prayer as she cares for her mom for renewed strength and faith.  Pray for the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ to touch Jackie' mom at this time.  Jackie is asking us for continued prayer so please lift them both up over the next few days.

We have a nephew (28) who has been diagnosed with liver cancer.  Please pray for his complete healing and for the Lord's guidance in the proper pathway of treatment.

Thomas has been admitted to Granbury Regional Medical Center for tests regarding an outbreak of large inflamed welts on his face and around his eyes. The doctors will be performing a cat-scan and other tests to determine the cause and course of treatment. Please pray for a quick and thorough diagnosis, treatment, and healing.

CRITICAL PRAYER FOR BABY ZOE

UPDATE: 10/07/07

Zoe has a great report!  The Lord led Sara and Joan to a nutritionist.  The doctors sent her home to die, but the Lord has intervened and she has begun eating, her bodily functions are returning to normal, her jaundice is going away, and she is responding with joy and affection!  Thank you for your continued prayers for her!  PRAISE THE LORD!

Gary Bynum called asking for focused prayer for little baby Zoe.  Her vital signs have begun shutting down.  We need to press into the throne room and agree together before our Father for a creative and restorative miracle!  Please uphold the entire family in prayer also, especially Sara, Zoe's mother.

UPDATE:  10/2/07 - Joan Bynum is home and recovering.  She is having to make an emergency trip to East Texas to minister to her daughter, while still recovering herself.  Please pray for traveling mercies and protection as she travels and heals.

Joan Bynum had to undergo emergency surgery to have her gallbladder removed last Thursday. Please pray for Joan's speedy and full recovery, and cover their home with prayer and God's protection and provision.

Please pray for Chrisy, granddaughter of Lee and Lonna Poland. Chrisy is at Baylor Hospital in Grapevine. She went in for a routine knee surgery and has complications of bloodclots located in her lungs. Medication has not been working. Please pray for God's intervention and healing. Chrisy is in her mid 20's and is the mother of two small children.

Urgent Prayer Request For Baby Zoe

Please continue to pray for a miracle healing in little Zoe. The Doctors have given a prognosis of 3 months for little Zoe to live. However, we serve a great and mighty God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think. Join us in agreement for her complete healing!

Having suffered a severe staph infection, my doctor asked the question "Why are you still alive"?  I told him, "Because God has not finished with me yet". Two unrelated physicans have asked the same question, "Why are you still alive?"  I feel it is through the intervention of prayer and the uplifting of loved ones.

Update 8/18/07

Thanks to all of you for your support and your prayers. I am happy to report that Ryan has truly turned the corner today and had his breathing tube removed around 1:30 this afternoon. He is awake and trying to talk to us, but his voice is still pretty weak. He is taking ice chips by mouth and acts like he can't get enough of them. We will likely move to a regular hospital room tomorrow and hopefully will be able to go home two or three days after that. This thing seems to be getting better at about the same rate that it came on!

Update:  8/15/07

Those who were at the meeting Sunday night will remember this prayer request - now the young man has been diagnosed with a very serious condition.  The disease turns out not to be Rocky Mountain Spider Fever.  Please undergird this family for God's strength, peace, and healing power to be upon them.

Dear Fellowship Family:

This is a urgent prayer request .  I ask you to take time to lift this family up as quickly as you can.  Please pray for Bob and Donna Sewell, their 16 yr. old son, Ryan is in ICU tonight with what they think right now is Rocky Mountain Spider Fever. He's on a venilator that's helping him breathe in order for his body not to have to fight so hard to breathe on it's own.  We all know that we don't have to know someone to PRAY for them.  They are scared but know they beleive in a BIG God and HE's at work. 

He picked up a tick bite last month in Kentucky and hasn't had any symptoms up to this point.  While in CO. visiting friends this week, he started running fever and complaining of pains throughout his body.  After going to the ER there his parents decided that it was best to bring him home and let the doctors that they know here take care of him. 

They are asking God for a miracle and to restore Ryan back to them.  Will you do the same and ask the Father for HIS will to be done, but not to be afraid to ask for BIG things, since we serve a BIG God...let's agree!!!!

Thanks for taking this to the throne room for this family.  Pray for Donna to be able to get some REST, along with the others in the family.

Just wanted to let y'all know the good news.  I got a job!  PTL!  God's hand was so obviously in it.  I saw an ad for a position at Jamak in the Sunday Weatherford paper.  I e-mailed my resume Monday morning, and on Tuesday morning got a call back wanting me to come for an interview that morning.  I went and did the tests, was interviewed, and had been back about an hour when they called and told me I was hired and they wanted me to start work the next day.  So, today was my first day on the job.  Is that God or what!?!  He's so good!  Thanks for y'all's prayers.

Prayer Request From Eddie Reed

A friend of Eddie Reed has asked for prayer for the families of five young people who were in an auto accident over the weekend.  Four died and one is paralyzed.  He is requesting prayers for the kids and all those grieving their loss and the long-term healing and well-being of the survivor.

PRAY FOR PHILIP REED'S BAND - FRIDAY NIGHT CONCERT SERIES

Sherry Reed has asked that we pray for Philip Reed and his band.  He will be one of our Friday night events in August.  His drummer has recently quit the band and the bass player is stating he cannot come.  Philip says he will come but is feeling like part of his band has let him down.  So Eddie Jr. is looking for another drummer and bass player here locally.  We feel this is another attack from the enemy to keep the Friday night events from happening and to bring discouragement to those involved.  <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Please pray for Philip and for all those participating in these wonderful live music events in August.  This is a tremendous outreach to our community and especially to the youth.  The enemy is throwing up all kinds of roadblocks to bring confusion and discouragement, but our Lord Jesus has come to bring LIFE – abundant life!

I receive an urgent prayer request from Gary Bynum for his granddaughter Zoe.  The doctors informed her mother Sarah that Zoe would need a liver transplant within 6 months.

The name Zoe comes from the Greek word for "Life".  It is the word that is used in John 10:10 when Jesus said he is coming to give us life, and life more abundantly.  Please join in agreement with Gary and Joan, and their daughter Sarah, for a miraculous healing of little Zoe and for a wonderful testimony to the power of Jesus "zoe" - LIFE!

Well, got through the first week in my new job. Interestingly the company I work for is s subsidiary of an American parent and they want to interview me on Wednesday with the main US board who are over here to discuss a Directors role in the Lone Star State. He does surely work in mysterious ways.

Dear Fellowship Family:

I just heard from my Dad that my sister lost her job. Naturally, she hasn't put much in savings.  Now that she is living in Detroit (the city with the highest unemplyment rate in the country), things will quickly look bleak.  She will be okay, but is prone to depression.  My 72 year old father, the heart patient, doesn't really need the additional stress.

 

Please pray that despite the odds, the Lord will provide finances for her to manage and that she finds work quickly.

Please pray for friends of Jackie Page:

We have received the report from our daughter in Abilene,  It is not good.  She went for her appointment on Thursday and they did a sonogram and sent her directly to the outpatient hospital and drained 7 liters of fluid off her abdomen.  She was told that she would be having a couple of chemo treatments to shrink the mass and then they would progress from there.  The doctor was 99% sure it was cancer.  We are just believing that the doctor could be mistaken and when they test the fluid that it will not contain any cancer cells.  We don't know exactly what she is facing at this time but would appreciate your prayers.  This is our first brush with cancer and our children.  It has put us in shock mode for a time.  We have told her to keep a positive attitude and that God is in control.  We will be going to Abilene for her appointment on Monday as they are not sure if they start the chemo then or what, but we want to be there.

UPDATE FROM PHIL CARTY

Please thank the congregation for the prayers they are saying for us. At the moment the job situation is about the same I have had a couple of interviews but nothing has come from them yet.

 

There were 2 key issues on Tuesday the first is that both Alison and I have contracted fairly severe viruses at the moment. The problem for Alison is that due to the medication she take to control her Rheumatoid Arthritis she had no immune system and viruses run rampant. Someone at her work came to work with a virus that has put him in hospital and the concern is obviously acute for her. She has kindly passed it to me and I am fighting Bronchitis because of it. The worst part is the coughs as we keep waking each other up and are only sleepy for maybe 3 hours a night at the moment. Alison is getting weaker because she won't stop to heal, you can imagine how this makes me feel. Its not right.

 

The other is finances, my car has to be returned at the end of the week and that will prove a problem as funds have not been released form the US or the UK as expected, my last pay check is on the 15th March so as you can imagine this is on our minds.

 

I have now applied for 60 jobs and have had 2 interviews the situation is testing to day the least. On Sunday Alison Becky and I were in prayer at 5.10 our time which would be 11.10am your time.

 

We await in expectation for God to move miraculously in our lives as He has in the past. Miracles are amazing when they happen the only down side with them is that they demand a crisis, The Blessings are far better and you and the church are a real blessing to us.

I have an urgent prayer request for my sister, Micky Freeman.  She has been very ill since last Monday.  She seemed to be getting better, but has gone down hill today.  She has emphysema and asthma.  She is very congested and has been running fever.  The fever is gone, but she is still very ill.  She is very weak and has no appetite.  She is forcing down any food she eats.  Her husband, Tom, needs prayer for strength.

Yesterday's doctor appointment went well for Karah. I heard her strong heartbeat! I took the glucose test and boy was that drink yuckie! I'll get those results back in a few days but I think I good.

The part of my stomach that I thought showed Karah's head was not a head at all! It is a large hernia in my upper abdomen. At this point there is nothing that they can do to repair it but at this point there is no harm to Karah. The docotor will be monitoring it very two weeks at my check up and we will just have to see how things go. I do not want to go on bed rest--that's less time I will get to be home with Karah after I deliver! The doctor thinks that I will just have to have surgery after the delivery to repair the hernia.

Please keep me in your prayers! I really don't want to have surgery with a newborn at home! And I would really love to have a normal birth with Karah.

I am facing a difficult time with my career at the moment. A job I had been offered has been withdrawn and I am now seeking employment in a market from which I have been absent for over 2 years due to my secondment in the USA.

 

There is a key meeting today in the US with companies that I have been dealing with over the period of my secondment and discussions will take place over bringing me back to the USA to work on the program again.

 

I would ask you to pray for Gods favor during these meetings and for Peace for my wife Alison and daugher Rebecca who are very worried at the moment over the situations that surrond us at this time

PRAY FOR JACK CAUDILL

Dear Fellowship Family:

Jack Caudill has been ill for several weeks.  He began to retain fluid to the extreme.  Medicine failed to correct this.  The family doctor ran blood work on Wednesday and when the results came in on Thursday, they sent him immediately to Fort Worth to Medical Plaza Hospital. 

They are trying to determine whether his heart or his kidneys are failing.  The heart doctor thinks it is the kidneys and the kidney doctor thinks it is the heart.  The will get together after all the tests and determine which it is and what can be done to correct the problem.

Please pray for Jack's healing!  Please pray for the doctors and for continued strength and peace for Jack and Ruth during this time.

PRAY FOR MARVIN WALTZ

Please lift Marvin in prayer.  He has just been diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs – not a terrible case, but bad enough to put him to bed with antibiotics, etc.  The doctor wants to see improvement in 48 hrs or he will hospitalize Marvin.  Since Marvin’s immune system is already compromised these type of infections hit him hard.  Thanks for your prayers.
