Dear Fellowship Family:
Jack Caudill has been ill for several weeks. He began to retain fluid to the extreme. Medicine failed to correct this. The family doctor ran blood work on Wednesday and when the results came in on Thursday, they sent him immediately to Fort Worth to Medical Plaza Hospital.
They are trying to determine whether his heart or his kidneys are failing. The heart doctor thinks it is the kidneys and the kidney doctor thinks it is the heart. The will get together after all the tests and determine which it is and what can be done to correct the problem.
Please pray for Jack's healing! Please pray for the doctors and for continued strength and peace for Jack and Ruth during this time.
Thank You, Pastor Kirk

UPDATE ON JACK CAUDILL: From Ruth Caudill
I talked with the Internal Medicine doctor this morning and am much encouraged.
She stated the heart was basically the same as it has been for several years and there is no permanent damage to the kidneys. They have doubled the fluid medication trying to get the swelling down. If that does not work by tomorrow, they will do a temporary dialisys, meaning 1 or 2 sessions. They will do this
in the hospital and make sure his kidneys are stable and working properly before he is dismissed. They do not know exactly what caused this situation, but will try to come up with a plan to monitor and prevent it from happening again.
Jack is still very weak, but is more alert and is talking some now. GOD IS GOOD! Thank you for all your prayers and thank everyone at church for us until we are able to return and thank them properly.
I will continue to keep you updated as I get information.
With a thankful heart
Ruth
GOD IS GOOD!!! Prayers have been answered.
Jack is much better, he has been moved into a regular room on the 6th floor, and all monitors have been taken off him. If he has a good night and the doctors are satisfied they will set up home health and meals on wheels and let him go home on Wednesday. He is still very weak, but is feeling better and only has oxygen at night now. I am off tomorrow so I am going over early and try to get to talk with the doctors and then be there if they do let him come home.
I will keep you updated.
Thank you for all your prayers and concern. It is working.
Love,
Ruth
PRAISE THE LORD!
Jack was able to come home tonight. Home health will be here tomorrow to evaluate him and determine how much care he needs. He is very weak and the transferring from wheel chair to car and from car to electric wheel chair at home has really worn him out, but he is very glad to be home.
If you call, he will probably let the answering machine answer, so start your message and he will pick up . We both feel God has really answered prayers for him to rebound as quickly as he has. Thank you for your prayers, please continue to pray for strength.
We love you,
Ruth
