PRAISE REPORT:

On Wednesday, December 17, Cheryl Goley underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. All of you have been praying fervently, and on Sunday, December 21 the entire church family lifted her up in prayer.

PRAISE THE LORD! I received a report from Dan Goley this morning (12/22) that Cheryl is awake, walking, took a shower, ate, and remembers everything! God is answering prayers.

Let's focus now on praying for her complete and full healing, and that she will be able to return home for Christmas.

Pray For Mitch Willour's Father

Please pray for Mitch Willour's father who has been in the hospital and has been diagnosed with cancer in the bladder. Mitch's father is 88 years old, and gave his heart to Christ as his personal Savior just two years ago. The doctors say that they cannot operate in his condition. so we are asking for the healing touch of the Lord upon his life, and that ALL the days fashioned for him by the Lord will be established! Please add Pastor Dan Collom from the La Mesa Foursquare Church to you and your church's prayer list. Pastor Dan just received the results of medical tests that revealed Lymphoma cancer in his right colon. They will be traveling to Lubbock to the Joe Arrington Cancer Clinic on Tuesday morning to consult with a cancer doctor to determine what treatment course they will pursue. Chemotherapy has been suggested as the most effective for this type of cancer, but that will be the Cancer Doctor in Lubbock's decision along with Pastor Dan and his wife Billie. We know that the Lord has the power to heal Dan so please intervene on his behalf. Thank you very much for your stand of faith for his healing.Blessings to you!

Background:  Please join me in praying for my friend Susie's grandson Chandler.  Chandler, who just turned 1, has a genecide disorder concerning how his body processes food.  At this point the family does not know whether or not it is managble or terminal.  Please pray for God's healing touch on his body and God's powerful love and peace for his mom, dad and Susie.  The emotional pain of dealing with this for the last year has been very difficult for all of them.

UPDATE: August 26, 2008:  I want to give thanks to the Lord for his healing power upon my brother, Tom. The biopsy report came back today negative - which means no malignancy! The doctors think perhaps there is scar tissue or even a fungus. They will continue xrays, etc. as the months go by but right now God, the healer, has intervened! August 4, 2008:  My brother, Tom, of Baton Rouge, LA has been in the hospital all weekend. They have run him through multiple testings to find out what is going on with him. From the cat scan they have found 2 small masses in his lungs that will need to have a biospy tomorrow and an additional cat scan of his entire body. My brother needs prayer for healing of his physical body but more importantly healing for his soul. He received Jesus as Savior at a very young age but has not lived his life with Jesus as Lord of his life. Please continue to pray for my sister's husband, Bill Spears.  After 2 weeks of rehab, he was able to stand with his walker and take 10 steps on his own today. They will be moving him to a Skilled Nursing Unit in Oklahoma City tomorrow. Please pray for him to be able to continue to have progress in his rehabilitation. My sister in Oklahoma City just called and said that her husband, Bill Spears, fell yesterday evening and broke his left leg just below the hip. He underwent surgery this morning, and the doctor put a rod in his leg. Please pray for him to have a speedy recovery. He is 75 years old and has been diagnosed with Parkensen's Disease within the past year or so. He and my sister both need your prayers.

I just wanted to give you a praise report . On Monday the Bedford Fire Department held a charity golf tournament for us . They raised somewhere between 6-7000 dollars to help us pay our out of pocket medical expenses!All the bills have not come in yet but I was told by our insurance company it should be 7000dollars for our out of pocket that we owe. Please Pray For Michael Sherrick

FURTHER PRAYER NEEDED:  6/12/08

1.  Michael's trach needs to come out permanently and his respiration needs to be normal (unassisted, smooth, unhindered)
 
2.  He needs to be able to handle secretions in his mouth as they occur.  His coughing and swallowing reflexes need to come forth.
 
3.  Pray over his muscles, they are atrophied due to lack of use. Michael's physical therapy will begin to be more aggressive, which is a good thing. 

UPDATE:  PRAISE REPORT - 6/4/08

Yesterday, Michael was moved from ICU to a regular room- a promotion of sorts- we know that progress is being made or that would not have happened.  Today they changed to a smaller trach hose that will allow him the opportunity to use his vocal chords.  I believe he will say "Hi" to us very soon. He gave one of his nurses a thumbs up today (he hadn't done that in a long time) as she bribed him for some more crushed ice to be placed in his mouth.  We are praising Yahweh and giving glory to His Name!  He is surely hearing our Spirit lead prayers and then going forth to perform them! 
 
As I write this good news, it would seem that this all will continue and I believe it will.  I pray each of you will continue to worship, pray and prophecy this miracle to its full manifestation as God leads you.

Sandy Willour called to ask us to prayer for one of her co-worker's husbands, Michael Sherrick.  Michael was working on a construction site and fell from a high level.  The doctors say that he will recover, but the recovery process will be slow.  Please pray for a full and speedy recovery for Michael.

This is a praise report! My oncologist was able to successfully appeal the insurance company's denial of my cancer screening and I had the test last Friday. We met with our doctor on Tuesday and all continues to be well! Terry and I are so grateful to the Lord for this life-changing time in our lives. So much good has come from such a terrible disease. As the Scriptures say, "Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." The Lord truly can use what is terrible for His own purposes. He is a good and awesome God.

My wife, Sharon has been experiencing some abdominal pain lately and today it was so severe that I took her to the ER in Granbury. Her belly is swollen and distended and she is having back pain. A CT scan was performed on her and The Dr. did not like the results . She has fluid in her abdomen which he said was a strong sign of ovarian cancer and that he will perform more tests tomorrow to try to rule it out We refuse to believe this report and ask for prayer that no illness can live in her body. Please ask the church to lift her up in prayer for health and wholeness in her body and for healing if needed.

He will begin he Cemo treatments on Monday and will continue treatments for a period of 6 months …. PRAISE REPORT - Haley Jean Dienhelt

UPDATE:  MARCH 18, 2008

 

Linda and I are baby sitting little Haley today.  She is laying on the floor by me trying to roll over all the while talking up a storm to me.  Well, I guess that is to be expected, she is a girl!  Doug took the feeding tube out a week ago Saturday.  Since that time Haley has been taking her bottle with only minimal problems.  She is continuing to gain weight.  The doctors still do not have the results of all of the blood tests.  I guess that we are just ahead of the medical profession.

 

Anyway I just wanted to let you know that Haley is doing fine at the moment. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns.

UPDATE:  March 10, 2008

Haley has gained weight and now weighs in at 11 lbs and 3 oz.  She should be at about 15 lbs for her age.  She is keeping her food down about 90 to 95% of the time.  The family’s next goal is to get her off of the feeding tube and on to the bottle.  We kept her over night on Saturday and she took 3 out of 4 feedings on the bottle.  Well I need to clarify that. She will almost always start on the bottle but will only take about an ounce.  So we consider her taking 2 to 3 ozs as her taking the bottle.  It gets complicated trying to keep up with how much she is taking and which way.  The most important thing is that it is staying down!

Thank you so much for your prayers.  This is evidence that they work.  Now if the doctors can just catch up!  Please keep little Haley in your prayers.

Haley Jean Diehnelt is almost 3 months old, and is having difficulty eating and keeping food down. She has been near death, has had many tests to determine the cause, but doctors say that all tests show everything is normal. She is home, and being fed through a feeding tube.

Haley Jean is the granddaughter of a good friend that I worked with for many years. This christian family needs prayer for Haley Jean's total healing, and for his family to have patience, strength and wisdom to care for her.

Please Pray For Families Of Accident Victims

This accident happened on a narrow two-lane bridge just outside our neighborhood. It took more than 4 hours to "clean up" and re-open the road.

Two young men were killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle accident on Weatherford Highway near the Lantana entrance. Dead at the scene were Bryan Walden, 20, of Glen Rose, and Donald Bowers, 19, of Weatherford, according to highway troopers. They were in one car. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle, a pickup truck pulling a trailer of hay, were injured. The driver is believed to be okay; the passenger had unknown injuries and was CareFlited to a Fort Worth hospital, troopers said.

Delynn is taking him to the doctor this morning. PRAISE REPORT - LYNN WOLFE

Dear Fellowship Family:

I want to thank all of our church family at The Fellowship for everyone's prayers.  I spoke with Lynn Tues. afternoon, and the doctor is releasing him to come home this Thursday.  Praise the Lord!  Lynn's medicine has been regulated, and he is doing fine.  He said that he has had a number of opportunities to witness to patients and staff at Millwood Hospital.  Not only has his medications been corrected, he has been able to be a witness for the Lord!  He was very excited when I talked to him. 

 

We are so blessed to have all of you all for our church family.  You are all mighty prayer warriors!  I praise God and thank Him for you all.

Pray For Marvin Waltz's Mother

Please pray for Marvin's mother, Jane Dossett,  in Harrisburg, PA, who  is having trouble with congestive heart failure.  She has had a valve replacement for about 10 years and is now displaying congestive heart failure.  Her oxygen levels are low so she is having trouble breathing.  Jane is a deeply committed Christian (a pastor's wife all her adult life).  We have released her into the Lord's  hands for his healing power to be displayed in her life here on earth or in the life to come.  Family members are with her so we are waiting for their report.

PRAISE THE LORD!

 

Jack is home on limited activity and daily home health care.  But, we don't care, he is just home and we are so grateful to God and thank everyone for their prayers.

We will be following up with Dr Reeve and Dr Newman on the blood thinners and other medications.  If there are no other problems I will return to work on Monday.  It has been a wild ride, but we now know what his condition is and how to deal with that.  As always, Jack has a remarkable spirit and belief in God's control of his life.

Jack Caudil had a TIA stroke and had to be hospitalized.  He has been able to return home and is feeling much better.  Ruth is taking the week off to care for Jack, and they have a doctor's appointment to assess treatment needs.  Please uphold them in prayer, asking for God's strength and healing.

Cara Young - Home With The Lord

CARA YOUNG WENT HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD.  Please join us in praying for her family, loved ones, and friends, that God's comfort and grace would be extended to them during this time of loss.

Cara Young is still in the hospital, and is a very sick young lady. She is one of God's beautiful young ladies. The doctors thought they had found lungs for a lung transplant, but the match was not good enough.

We will continue to pray the she will be healed from cyctic fibrosis whether it be miraculous, instant healing, or a lung transplant directed by God. Pray for those that minister and care for her, and for Debbie and Steve her mother and father.

Please join us in praying for our daughter Jennifer Ison. Jennifer was diagnosed with an enlarged heart, and she also has a hole in her heart. She lives in East Texas and will be coming to Dallas next week to undergo surgery. Please pray for the Lord's healing in her life and care through the doctors and nurses that will be performing the surgery.

Also, please continue to pray for my mother who is back in the hospital with complications from a nose bleed.
