PRAYER UPDATE - Baby Alex:
Talked to Noemi today. The doctors released her on Monday. She of course had to go home without baby Alex. She said it is a day by day thing with the baby. Yesterday, Tuesday, was a good day for the baby. Today was a struggle for him and he needed constant care. She tells me that she and her husband Chris are able to request certain nurses to be on "Team Alex" and they have found two wonderful women thus far. She asked to have prayer for guidance and strength for both she and Chris. Also, continued prayer for health, strength and growth for Alex. Right now it appears that Alex will have quite a long stay at the hospital and I know that they will all be blessed by our prayers for them and the Lord will continue to refresh and uphold them day by day.

PRAISE REPORT!
Many of you have been in prayer for Noemi and her unborn baby. Well, I want to share with you that Alex Kelsey was born on Tuesday, March 24, about 9:00 pm Calif. time. The doctors had hoped to delay his birth but he came at 29 week. He weighed 2lbs. 4oz. and is 14 inches long. All tests thus far are going well and he appears healthy. Noemi is also doing well but had to spend an extended time in recovery due to unstable blood pressure. Thank you all for your prayers on their behalf. I shared with them God's love through you.

UPDATED REQUEST: March 3, 2009
Just got off the phone with my young friend Noemi from Calif. You remember I asked for prayer for her pregnancy. Last time they were not sure if the baby was going to have down syndrome. Now they don't seem to be concerned about that anymore, the new concern is the baby's heart rate is much to fast. Baby Alex is only 26 weeks along so they are putting Noemi on bedrest to try to delay an early inducement. The doctors would like to see if she can go for another month before they deliver. Please pray that the heart rate will become in the normal range and that she is able to carry Alex to full term. Also, she is very scared so she needs peace and comfort along with her husband Chris.
