Dear Fellowship family,

Some of you may remember that 3 years ago we joined in prayer for my friend Noemi in Calif. Because of our prayers and God's mercy and grace her miracle son Alex was born! She now has called to request prayer for her sister Sandra who lives in Oklahoma. Her sister had her left breast removed due to a very rare cancer. After treatments, the new scan shows it has moved close to her heart. Noemi says her sister knows Jesus, but not sure how close her relationship is with Him. I felt honored that Noemi called to ask us to pray for her sister because she knows how much support her infant son received from our church family!

I have a great-nephew who is serving on the USS Ronald Reagan. He was one of those who was contaminated with radiation in Japan. He has told his grandfather that they contaminated pretty bad and are currently on food rations because they are unable to get supplies to them on the ship. They can't set sail to any port because they need to be decontaminated before they'll let them come into port. He said he's feeling well at the moment. He was one of the ones that flew into Japan with supplies when he was contaminated. Please pray that help gets to them soon as well as food and supplies.

Rose's surgery was a great success! She was up and walking within a few hours of the surgery. Please continue to pray for her full recovery.

Rose is scheduled for a four to five hour surgery on her lower back on January 25th. She will be at Pine Creek Medical center in Dallas. I will have her Cell phone 817-757-2844. Please pray for my nieces husband. We received a call late last night, they found a huge brain tumor and are supposed to determine today or tomorrow when they are going to operate. They are telling us right now that it may not be malignant, but can't determine until they operate and do a biopsy. Surgery is supposed to be up to a 2 day process. He is in his early 30s, and has 2 small children. His name is Chad McCormack. Please pass this on to the church family.

Today my daughter, Teri, asked me to pray for her boss' son, Toby Marion, age 16. Toby was involved in an ATV accident and had a large piece of his skull removed. Will you please help the Marion family by praying for Toby and his family? Teri shared that Toby is stable, and prayer for the swelling to go down is very important now. We believe God will give Toby's family, friends and medical staff the strength and guidance they need during this very serious and most difficult time. My cousin, Danny Edwards, is currently fighting Acute Milo Dysphasic Leukemia. I have just talked to his wife and he is back in the hospital with a Fusarium fungal infection. He is in a catch 22 since they can't do give him the treatment he needs as long as he has the fungal infection so this is a very serious condition. The doctor has told her that Fusarium fungus has a mortality rate of 0. At this point they don’t know which will kill him, the fungus or the leukemia. Please pray for he and his wife especially. They are praying for Devine intervention a complete healing.

He is saved and says he’s made his peace with God.

My friend at work sent this to me today.

“Please pray for: David Bennett (57 years old), my mom’s husband’s (Tuck's) son in law, who had a stroke. David tried calling someone on the phone from the farm, was talking gibberish; so someone from Covington went to the farm and found him in the bed with his right side paralyzed and unconscious. He is in the hospital in Atlanta. They did surgery to stop the bleeding in his brain. Other tests revealed the hemorrhage was coming from some metastasized brain cancer tumors(I think) which he did not know about. He takes a blood thinner already so that may have exacerbated it. While talking with Tuck Sunday afternoon, Neal (the neighbor)came in to say David has pneumonia and an infection. The doctors will discuss options with Carrie (David’s wife) in the next few days. It does not sound good at all. Tuck sounded nervous talking about it but realistic.”

Thank you for praying for Alison and Becky. They have both recovered from Swine Flu much more rapidly than is usual, and the infections did not manifest themselves fully. Neither of them now has a temperature and the sickness has stopped. Neither of them took the Tamiflu due to the side effects which look pretty bad when you read the data sheets. Alison attended the doctor yesterday (Wed) at 4 to have a full check up and no residual infections and was found at no risk of subsequent virus attack. This is a real blessing as she has no immunity of her own and all the Doctors thought she would get another virus. I have been nursing them both and have no symptoms myself, its been all around me but has not touched me. Mind you I'm a bit tired. We fought with the Word and God honored His Word. Thank you Bothers and Sisters for all your support and prayers over this matter. It has felt like we have been cradled in loving arms as we have been carried through the situation.

“Kirk, I have an urgent prayer request for Alison and Becky. Both of them have contracted Swine flu. Alison has no natural immune system so it’s very dangerous for her and we need to stand against any complications which could arise, particularly pneumonia. Post Surgery Report: Breast Cancer

Melody was given a "poor" chance of recovery by her oncologist yesterday. She is stage 1 but grade 3 and triple negative, not a candidate for hormone therapy. The doctor canceled her appointment with the radiologist. Basically, the doctor says that the pathology gathered by the surgeon is not matching the blood. Dr. Young thinks the cancer is in Melody's bloodstream. Melody will have surgery pretty soon to put in a port for chemo.

Melody was okay last night but wants specific prayer that the doctors will figure this out quickly and start her treatment.

Let's join together in contending for Melody's complete healing and a testimony to the doctors and nurses in a reversal of their prognosis!

One of the guys I work with just found out that his mother has been diagnosed with cancer . I don't know what type but it is in her lungs , liver and a small growth is in her brain. Her growth in the brain is small and they got good news yesterday that they think they can get it with radiation. this week she will be going through an agressive round of chemo and radiation daily. I told him yesterday that Sharon and I would be praying for her and that I would put in a prayer request for her.Please pray for her healing and for strength , to get through it and that the treatments would be successful.Also to lift up her family and any other needs there may be. Finally the end of last year it happened and she was pregnant with twins. I just heard this morning that she and Alan lost both babies.They are doing as best as can be expected. I am asking for prayers of support and strength and that they will both feel God's loving arms around them in this tragic time. PRAYER UPDATE - Baby Alex:

Talked to Noemi today. The doctors released her on Monday. She of course had to go home without baby Alex. She said it is a day by day thing with the baby. Yesterday, Tuesday, was a good day for the baby. Today was a struggle for him and he needed constant care. She tells me that she and her husband Chris are able to request certain nurses to be on "Team Alex" and they have found two wonderful women thus far. She asked to have prayer for guidance and strength for both she and Chris. Also, continued prayer for health, strength and growth for Alex. Right now it appears that Alex will have quite a long stay at the hospital and I know that they will all be blessed by our prayers for them and the Lord will continue to refresh and uphold them day by day.

PRAISE REPORT!

Many of you have been in prayer for Noemi and her unborn baby. Well, I want to share with you that Alex Kelsey was born on Tuesday, March 24, about 9:00 pm Calif. time. The doctors had hoped to delay his birth but he came at 29 week. He weighed 2lbs. 4oz. and is 14 inches long. All tests thus far are going well and he appears healthy. Noemi is also doing well but had to spend an extended time in recovery due to unstable blood pressure. Thank you all for your prayers on their behalf. I shared with them God's love through you.

Just got off the phone with my young friend Noemi from Calif. You remember I asked for prayer for her pregnancy. Last time they were not sure if the baby was going to have down syndrome. Now they don't seem to be concerned about that anymore, the new concern is the baby's heart rate is much to fast. Baby Alex is only 26 weeks along so they are putting Noemi on bedrest to try to delay an early inducement. The doctors would like to see if she can go for another month before they deliver. Please pray that the heart rate will become in the normal range and that she is able to carry Alex to full term. Also, she is very scared so she needs peace and comfort along with her husband Chris.

I have an urgent prayer request on behalf of Marvin, for Donna. As you know, Donna is in California taking classes for her doctorate. She got very sick last week with fever and bronchial congestion and we've all been praying for her. Marvin called just now and said that today she was having other severe symptoms, pain in her abdomen and swelling in her abdomen. He advised her to find a way to go to the hospital. Someone came from the Seminary and took her there this afternoon around noon.

They did many tests to rule out pneumonia, gallbladder, liver or kidney problems. The diagnosis is she has torn her abdominal muscles because of severe coughing. They gave her cough suppressants and pain medication. Hopefully she will sleep tonight, as she hasn't slept for many nights. Tomorrow she will have to make the decision whether to come home or try to continue in her classwork there. She has been looking forward to this week because her class is with Jack Hayford, and Tues. evening the students are invited to his house for dinner.

Marvin has asked us to agree in prayer for Donna's congestion to be miraculously cleared up without more coughing, and that her coughing will be totally surpressed. Also pray that her abdominal muscles will be healed miraculously and quickly so she won't have to suffer with this or have to have surgery for it to heal.

Cheryl continue to do well as she undergoes chemotherapy and radiation treatments for the brain tumor that was removed in December. All of her treatments will be finished by Thursday of next week. Please continue to pray:

3. For her first MRI which is scheduled for March 21, 2009, and a clean report.

My mom (Susan Martinez) has pancreatic cancer/cholangiocarcinoma (yes, what Patrick Swayze has). There are at least 6 tumors in her liver, there are 1-2 in her pancreas, cancer in her lymph nodes by her upper aorta, gallbladder and the lining that covers her organs. Chemo would not be enough so they are just sending her for clinical trials as soon as possible. We are waiting to hear which hospitals have trials for pancreatic cancer and which one can accept her. 1. UPDATE 2/4/09: The surgery was successful. Please pray now for a full and speedy recovery. Thank you for your prayers!

A young child named Ariana is being operated on to repair her skull. She was born with a flat spot on the right forehead that is also affecting her right eye and the eye soccet. They are going in to do reconstructive surgery which will be long and tedious. It starts about 10 am CA time, today. Please pray for a successful surgery and her healing.

2. Dear friends, Noemi and her husband Chris, are expecting their first child. Around Christmas a sonogram was given and they were told the baby appeared to have no brain. They both then went through a very tough time. After waiting to see a specialist, they were told that everything looked fine and the brain was indeed there and growing. Then they were told that the feamer bone looked short which could be an indication that the child would be born with down syndrome. Also, there is a very good chance that the child could also be normal. Then they were told it is a little boy. Please pray for health for the baby, and clarity and peace for the parents.

Update 2/4/09: Michael just started taking a few minutes ago. The nurse was working his arms and he said “Stop you are hurting me” isn’t God wonderful. Thanks for all the prayers.

On May 5, 2008, my friend Michael fell while working at the Windstar Casino in Oklahoma. It was a construction accident. His company was doing the reconstruction and building the new casino.

He has come a long way and is in a rehab center now. He had a serious brain injury and it is amazing he is still alive. He can move his legs, arms and head. He understands most of what you say, he answers you by blinking his eyes, but he has not been able to speak. Yesterday when his stepmother sang, O How I Love Jesus, he started humming along with her. He was very proud of himself and was smiling. All the nurses and other staff came into to see him. It was wonderful. His wife, Rana works with me, so I got to share it first hand. Thank you Lord! Please continue to pray for Michael's complete healing!

On Wednesday, December 17, Cheryl Goley underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. All of you have been praying fervently, and on Sunday, December 21 the entire church family lifted her up in prayer.

PRAISE THE LORD! I received a report from Dan Goley this morning (12/22) that Cheryl is awake, walking, took a shower, ate, and remembers everything! God is answering prayers.

Let's focus now on praying for her complete and full healing, and that she will be able to return home for Christmas.

August 4, 2008: My brother, Tom, of Baton Rouge, LA has been in the hospital all weekend. They have run him through multiple testings to find out what is going on with him. From the cat scan they have found 2 small masses in his lungs that will need to have a biospy tomorrow and an additional cat scan of his entire body. My brother needs prayer for healing of his physical body but more importantly healing for his soul. FURTHER PRAYER NEEDED: 6/12/08

1. Michael's trach needs to come out permanently and his respiration needs to be normal (unassisted, smooth, unhindered)

2. He needs to be able to handle secretions in his mouth as they occur. His coughing and swallowing reflexes need to come forth.

3. Pray over his muscles, they are atrophied due to lack of use. Michael's physical therapy will begin to be more aggressive, which is a good thing.

UPDATE: PRAISE REPORT - 6/4/08

Yesterday, Michael was moved from ICU to a regular room- a promotion of sorts- we know that progress is being made or that would not have happened. Today they changed to a smaller trach hose that will allow him the opportunity to use his vocal chords. I believe he will say "Hi" to us very soon. He gave one of his nurses a thumbs up today (he hadn't done that in a long time) as she bribed him for some more crushed ice to be placed in his mouth. We are praising Yahweh and giving glory to His Name! He is surely hearing our Spirit lead prayers and then going forth to perform them!

As I write this good news, it would seem that this all will continue and I believe it will. I pray each of you will continue to worship, pray and prophecy this miracle to its full manifestation as God leads you.

This is a praise report! My oncologist was able to successfully appeal the insurance company's denial of my cancer screening and I had the test last Friday. We met with our doctor on Tuesday and all continues to be well! Terry and I are so grateful to the Lord for this life-changing time in our lives. So much good has come from such a terrible disease. As the Scriptures say, "Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." My wife, Sharon has been experiencing some abdominal pain lately and today it was so severe that I took her to the ER in Granbury. Her belly is swollen and distended and she is having back pain. A CT scan was performed on her and The Dr. did not like the results . She has fluid in her abdomen which he said was a strong sign of ovarian cancer and that he will perform more tests tomorrow to try to rule it out We refuse to believe this report and ask for prayer that no illness can live in her body.
