PRAISE REPORT!

I want to thank all of you for all the prayers you prayed for me for my surgery. The surgery went fine and the doctor was a perfectionist on procedure, so it went like clockwork, very smooth. I am feeling much better and gaining strength again.

PRAY FOR MITCH WILLOUR'S FATHER

Please pray for Mitch Willour's father who has been taken to the hospital for tests and treatment.  Mitch's father has been battling with cancer, a skin rash, and bed sores.  Mitch is on his way to Kansas to be with his father.  He and Sandy thank you all for your prayers and the assurance that his father, a new Christian, is in the hands of the Lord's care!

PRAISE REPORT:  DONNA'S BROTHER TOM

UPDATE: August 26, 2008:  I want to give thanks to the Lord for his healing power upon my brother, Tom. The biopsy report came back today negative - which means no malignancy! The doctors think perhaps there is scar tissue or even a fungus. They will continue xrays, etc. as the months go by but right now God, the healer, has intervened! Thanks to all of you who prayed and stood with us for Tom's healing!     Donna

August 4, 2008:  My brother, Tom, of Baton Rouge, LA has been in the hospital all weekend. They have run him through multiple testings to find out what is going on with him. From the cat scan they have found 2 small masses in his lungs that will need to have a biospy tomorrow and an additional cat scan of his entire body. My brother needs prayer for healing of his physical body but more importantly healing for his soul. He received Jesus as Savior at a very young age but has not lived his life with Jesus as Lord of his life. Thanks for standing with my entire family as we cover him with love and prayers.       Donna

Pray for Randy Sparks

Please pray for Randy Sparks. He ministers in many of the prisons in East Texas . He has been very ill, in much pain and is loosing weight rapidly. There is a problem with his esophagus and he will be going in for further testing.

Pray For Bill Spears

UPDATE - August 27, 2008

Please continue to pray for my sister's husband, Bill Spears.  After 2 weeks of rehab, he was able to stand with his walker and take 10 steps on his own today. They will be moving him to a Skilled Nursing Unit in Oklahoma City tomorrow. Please pray for him to be able to continue to have progress in his rehabilitation. Also pray for my sister's health as well as for God to give her wisdom for all of the decisions that she will have to make from here on out.  God bless you all. My sister in Oklahoma City just called and said that her husband, Bill Spears, fell yesterday evening and broke his left leg just below the hip. He underwent surgery this morning, and the doctor put a rod in his leg. Please pray for him to have a speedy recovery. He is 75 years old and has been diagnosed with Parkensen's Disease within the past year or so. He and my sister both need your prayers.

Rose is going to have surgery Thursday afternoon at Baylor Medical Center Southwest Ft. Worth.. We would appricate the prayers of the church for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
