Jake Boudrot - Charlotte's Son In Iraq

Dear Fellowship Family:

The following prayer request was sent to me by Charlotte:

A couple of weeks ago Jake recieved a small scratch on his hand.  This week he is in the hospital with staff infection.  Lancing and draining and major anitbiotics. Staff is nothing to mess with.  He has been laid up now for the past 3 days, and expected to be off for the next couple is not more.  It is a very bad infection.  He may lose his finger or more.

Please pray for Jake's complete healing and God's protection in his life as he serves our country in Iraq.

Thank you!  Pastor Kirk

Keith & Sandy Deck Moving...Prayer Request

Dear Friend,

The time has finally come for us to move and in just a few weeks we will be listing our DFW, TX area home.  We have had several market analyses done on the property and will be listing at the bottom end of the fair market value.

It has occurred to us that within our extended network of family and friends, someone knows the family who is the perfect match for this home so we would like to ask you to share this information with your friends and ask them to pass it along.

If we can move it before we list, we will be able to sell the house well below the projected list price of $179,900, or the buyer could elect to wait for listing and get $10,000 cash back through the listing agent plus a guarantee to sell or buy their old home with in 24 hours.  The agent can explain his incentive programs.

If you have questions, or know someone who is interested, please refer them to us at email ourplace76137@yahoo.com or by phone at 817-428-0623.  If you call, please leave a message.

Thank you for your prayers...

Blessings,

The Deck Family

Prayer Request From Jason Reed

I have a prayer request for my friend Mallory who found out about 4 months ago that she has leukemia. Her chemo treatments have not been working and the doctors told her that this week is the last week for her treatments to work.  If she doesn't get any response then she most likely never will. I just recently met her and she has touched my life as well as the life of my close friends. I know God put her on this earth and in my life for a reason and I really would like for you to send out an email to everyone else so they could pray for her this week.

Thank you very much and God Bless.

Prayer Request From Foursquare Church Planting

Dear Fellowship Family:

Below is a prayer request and tangible need from a sister church planting, Friends Foursquare Church in Tyler, Texas.  John and Darlene Windsor began with their church planting around the same time Karen and I did.  The Lord is moving us in our Foursquare Family to network together.  Although Tyler is a good distance from us, someone may have a friend, relative, or contact that might be an answer to this prayer need.  Also, there is no distance in prayer, so we can all join in agreement to the Father for these needs.  Thank you for your prayers.  If the Lord leads you with a tangible answer to this prayer, please let me know and I will make the contact.  Pastor Kirk

Prayer Request From Friends Church:

Our daughter is married with three children and has recently due to some very unusual circumstances been led by the Lord to adopt an 8-yr. old girl who lived across the street from them.  This makes them a family of six now.  They own their own flooring installation business, but are still in the building phase, which means finances are not consistent as yet.  The car they have is a two-door Sebring...not quite big enough for 6.  They can't trade it for something bigger because as a lot of people are, they are upside down on the payoff.  Would you please mention them to the Father and join our prayers for a miracle for them.  Jason and Rheanon are our right hands in the church and ministry.  They give of themselves more than anyone else in our church.  They need a van or something to the equivalent, but have no funds available to buy something outright and can't afford another car payment on top of their Sebring.  See the dilemma?

Thanks for your prayers and please feel free to let us know if we can pray anything specific for you guys.

Blessings on your day!
Darlene

Prayer Request From Bonnie Lippard

Mrs. Ross (principal of Aledo Christian School) called and a previous student of the school was in a bad, bad car accident. His name is Douglus Friedenberg. He had the accident yesterday and they didn't get a call until late last night or actually early this morning. He was brought into the trauma center in Fort Worth as a John Doe and someone saw him who happened to know him. He has massive head injuries and a broken pelvis and is not expected to live. His older sister is Kara and she hasn't been told.  She is at college. Dougs dad is really upset and furious at the hospital for the way they handled things. He is prone to anger. Pray for a miracle!

Thanks! Bonnie

Continued Needs For The Carrier Family

Dear Fellowship Family:

Please pray for the needs listed below for Pastor Shannon and Michelle Carrier, their daughters, and mother.

Hello everyone, I pray this finds everyone doing well.  We had our appt. with the neurosurgeon today and it seemed to go positvely well.
Our doctor is refering us to his coworker at Scottish Rite Hospital (hopefully next week).  They are going to do what they call conductive nerve testing to see if the nerves will respond to the magnetic pulses, this is what we are praying for, because if her nerves respond it just means that they are just taking a longer time to heal and that would be good;  2nd diagnosis is if her nerves do not respond then they will need to do invasive surgery to see if the nerves became disconnected from the spinal cord and if that is the case he thinks since it is affecting the whole arm it is about 5-6 nerves and they would just reconnect them and go from there to see if that had any response; 3rd diagnosis would be if they went in there and the nerves were still connected to the spinal cord then that would mean the nerves were damaged and they would need to then think about putting in new nerves to make things work again.  They will also be doing a sonagram on her shoulder because it looks like it might have become dislocated or is trying to due to the muscles not being able to hold it up. She will still continue to do physical therapy right now, and they too are waiting to see what is the outcome so that they can take different measures on how to do her therapy.  Scottish Rite is a hard hospital to get in quickly, but he said he was going to personally call his collegue and try to get her in next week.  Her spirits are up and she doesn't seem to be in as much pain as she was though so that is good.  She still wants to do everything herself and is very independant and just picks her arm up if she need to move it.
As far as mom, we still do not know if she has more than just cracked ribs and pelvis.  She is still on a walker but seems to be getting around pretty good.  We will pray that things are just cracked and not broken and although painful we would just have to wait for it to heal.
The girls have survived thier first week of school and seemed to be enjoying it.  Kayla and Sierra both have been writing songs totry and deal with things and some of them aren't too bad; some of them have questions, but they also have words stating trust and security in their Lord, so that is refreshing.
Shannon and I are doing pretty good, we do have some bad days, but for the most part its almost like that song that we were all taught when we were little goes through our heads "He's got the whole world in His hands".  Again, we hope and pray that all of you know how much we love and appreciate each one of you!  I am looking forward to the day when I am writing you saying Bella woke up with full use of her arm.  :)  Love you all!
In His Love,
Michelle

PRAISE REPORT - TRACY PULLIAM

Dear Fellowship Family:

Sometime ago I asked for prayer for my niece Tiffany for heroin addiction.  My sister said she is doing well, has a job, is living at home and recovering.

Also, I know that we told you and those in our home group, but I had a wonderful report from my procedure last week.  There was no sign of the polyp at all and I don't have to undergo that particular procedure for another year.  Such an answer to prayer!

Thank you,
Terry and Tracy Pulliam

Pray for Tracy Pulliam's Niece

My sister called today to tell me that one of her seven children, 19 year old Tiffany,
has been experimenting with heroin.  They don't think it has been going on long and
have her home now, trying to find a rehab facility.

Tonya (Tracy's sister) asked that I have my church pray for Tiffany.  Tonya's family is Mormon and this is the first time she has ever requested prayer from my church.  Please pray for Tiffany's healing, and that the light of the truth of Jesus Christ will break through into their entire family.

Prayer Request For A Local Soldier In Iraq

From: Vicky Field, Granbury, TX

My son has been shot in Falujah. I wanted to get everyone to pray  for my son CHAD. Today, Sunday, I got a call from the Army that my son  had been shot in the head. I am asking for all your prayers. He wasin a Humvee going through Falujah fighting and a gang of militia  fighters fired on the Humvee and hit Chad in the head. The driver got him out of the city and took him to Baghdad. He was in fatal condition, but now has been upgraded to stable critical. His dad and I are on standby to fly to Washington then on to Germany as soon as the military calls us to go. The Army is trying to stabilize him enough to fly to Germany and at that time we will leave. Please pray that my son will not have brain damage and that he will be restored and healed by the blood of Jesus, and the grace of God. I ask for you to pass this prayer request on so there will be many prayers warriors praying for him.

Thank you  so much and I will try to keep you updated on his condition.

Prayer Request - Aubrey Will Have Open Heart Surgery

Hello Friends,

As many of you know, our granddaughter Aubrey was recently hospitalized for retention of fluids.  Aubrey has a serious and rare heart deformity that has only been "corrected" by a series of four open heart surgeries.  We originally expected a total of three surgeries.

Now, she will be scheduled for a FIFTH open heart surgery at the end of June to make even more corrections.  She is only 3 1/2 years old.

Aubrey is a delightful, joyful, and beautiful child - practically perfect in every way except for her little heart.  We grieve at the disruption to her life and the misery she must endure.  But we trust the Lord to take care of her and see her through.  "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ..."  (Philippians 1:6)  He will be faithful to complete what He has started in Aubrey.   We trust the Lord and stand on His Word.

Thanks for your continued prayers.

Terri Weir

Prayer Request From Sherry Morris

Our new daughter-in-law had some test done because of kidney stones that are logded in the value that runs from the kidney to the bladder. The test also shows she has a growth on her left ovary about the size of a golf ball.

If the stones are not past by next week the doctor will have to do surgery.  She is had a sonagram Wednesday on the ovary but do not know the results yet.  She is a christain & her faith is very strong.  We have prayed over the phone & asked for prayers for her healing.  Asked that this would be past to other for prayer.

Also, I am having surgery tommorrw on my knee.  I have a piece of bone broke off in my knee about the size of a quarter & a torn menicus.  The doctor thinks I may have a cyst from the bone moving around.  The surgery is at 9:00am at Harris Northwest in Azle.  I asked for the same prayer as my daughter-in-law & that God guide Dr. Bintzer hands & medical staff.

Thank you for your prayers!

Prayer Request From Julie Lyssy

A dear colleague of mine, Jack Landon, went home to be with the Lord Saturday May 27th.  He had been suffering through having a bad physical heart.  His heart for the Lord was incredible and I learned so much from him while he was here.  I'm happy and rejoice that he is no longer suffering in his earthly body, but will miss him.  Please pray for the comfort of his family and friends during this time of loss, and that the testimony of his life will touch many hearts for Christ.

Skip & Terri Weir's Grandaughter - Aubrey

Update:  05/26/06

Update:  5/26/06

I just heard from Terri, who's still at the hospital, so I'm writing this update....

Just to let everyone know, Aubrey is now in recovery from her heart cath procedure this morning.  She is expected to go home this afternoon.  For the moment, that's the good news.

The bad news is that the procedure revealed some additional narrowing of arteries around her heart and also the fenestration (small hole) they made in her heart earlier has closed.  Both of these problems need to be fixed and her doctors will be meeting soon to discuss how to proceed from here.

They want to insert another stent in her artery to control the narrowing but aren't sure how to get it there.  They can't insert it the normal way (up through an artery in the groin), so they are considering perhaps going in through her liver.

The doctor said another open-heart surgery (loosing track now, I think this is number 4), is necessary to fix the closing of the hole in her heart perhaps using Gortex material or something like that, to keep it open.  If they decide this surgery is necessary they will probably do all the repairs at one time and this will be scheduled for sometime in June.

We and her parents deeply appreciate the prayers of many, many people literally from around the world.  She is the sweetest and cutest three year old you would ever want to know.  We are believing God that one day, she will be able to thank you herself for your many prayers.

Please pray specifically for: Aubrey - a miraculous healing of her body; the doctors - that they would gain wisdom and skill from the Lord that goes beyond their experience, knowledge and training for this particular situation; for her parents - Carissa and Jacob, that they would experience a peace that can only come from God and that this would draw them closer together as a family; for us - Skip, Terri and Taylor that we would experience the peace of God through all this and be a source of encouragement and support for the family.

Please forward this on to others who need to get this update and once again, we thank all of you so much for your thoughts and prayers as we go through this journey.

Blessings,
Skip

PLEASE PRAY FOR MARVIN WALTZ - From Donna Waltz

Over the next 1.5 weeks Marvin will undergo a 2nd MRI in his thoracic spine region.  The first MRI was for the cervical spine which showed bulging dics.  The neuro surgeon will then present Marvin's case to a team of spine specialist on Monday the 24th.  Then we will get their diagnosis on Friday, April 28.

We are praying that after these tests the doctors will be able to have a definitive plan of action for Marvin.  These problems are causing numbness, loss of stamina, and pain.  We believe that the problem in his spine is causing a lot of the Parkinson's symptoms to be worse than they have to be.  Many doctors believe that disease and healing begins in the spine.  So locating and solving this situation for Marvin is critical for his ongoing health.  We especially need prayer for Marvin to have the MRI this Thursday.  It is in a closed MRI because the doctor feels it is more exact than an open MRI.  Pray that Marvin will be able to relax and go to sleep.  Pray that the doctors will have wisdom in how to help Marvin as they review his case next Monday.  And prayer that we will have peace and understanding about their diagnosis.

Ron Singleton worked with Sandy Willour at Sprint before he was called into active duty, and then to Irage.  Prayer is needed for his healing, and for his wife Cassondra, the care of their children, and financial provision.

Cassondra shares about Ron's condition:

Dear Everyone,

I would like to let all of you know that he has had a relapse.  They did a bone marrow biopsy this morning and the lab info came back with info that we did not want to hear.  We are currently in San Antonio at Lackland Air Force Base (Wilford Hall Medical Center) and he will begin chemotherapy tomorrow.  After the treatments are done, then they will do another stem cell transplant, once again using the stored cells his sister donated.

MIRACLE NEEDED FOR CANCER PATIENT

Submitted By:  Tracy Pulliam

I heard this morning that one of my little cancer buddies, Lacey Mae, has been sent home to die with pain medication and a feeding tube.  She has neuroblastoma.  It was Stage IV originally and then in remission for several years.  I have pasted her mom's message on here.  They have been waiting the last few days for the report and got it yesterday.

Hello to all, Lacey's scan showed progressed Neuroblastoma and from the medical stand point there is nothing more they can do. We will be going home in the morning on a pain pump and feeding tube.
My little princess has put up one long fight but Jesus just needs another angel and she knows what is going on she just says she is scared of dieing but smiles when We tell her about things in Heaven and tell her she is going to get her Angel wings and fly, she says she is going to pour out the snow when she gets there. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to face but I just keep telling myself how much better off she will be when she gets to Heaven, No more pain No more shots No more chemo No more hospital Only Great things in store for her. But it is extremely hard to know I will not see her or be able to hold my precious little girl for a long time, but for now I am going to spend every moment trying to make these days we do have with her the best we possibly can. Like the saying LIVE LIKE YOU WERE DIEING.

We are not promised tomorrow nor are we giving our children we are lent them and only GOD knows the outcome of our future. I LOVE my Lacey Mae with all my heart and she has put up the greatest fight I am so proud of her for her strength and her faith in GOD she knows in her heart she is going to heaven.
I do know that Doctors are not GOD and He alone can turn all this around and give us a Miracle and amaze everyone and I will continue Praying for that Miracle.
PLEASE PRAY GOD GIVES HER STRENGTH IN EVERYWAY
PLEASE PRAY FOR HER TO BE PAIN FREE
Love to all, Chelli
